I Like detailed answers plz, not answers saying u dissaprove of MAC b/c of the price etc, etcMAC makeup Brushes? Pros, 10 quick points?
Since you just ordered brushes from Coastal Scents, you might as well get the Mac Lipglasses. Afterall, how many brushes do you really need?
However, I personally wouldn't mind getting more brushes because sometimes I get lazy to wash them so it would be nice to have alternates.
And if I were you I would get the face set. Overall, getting any of the Mac Holiday brush set is cool because you're saving lots of money since MAC brushes are really pricey in general.
Hope you're happy with what you're getting :) I can't even afford a MAC holiday brush set :( MAC makeup Brushes? Pros, 10 quick points?
I would get the lipglosses if you already ordered brushes.
Also...if you really like to have lots of brushes...have you seen the new set Mary Kay just came out with a few months ago?? REALLY NICE.

What are the pros and cons of wearing makeup?
PROS
- more confidence you feel a lot better about your self (well i do)
- be comfortable how you look/ feel good
- covers pimples/acne which many people may see as ';ugly';
- foundation if applied correctly gives a smooth and delicate look and evens out the colour and tone of your face
- mascara makes your eyes look thicker and longer
- Blush makes you have a good cheek bone structure- bagfulul not to look to rosy try look natural.
CONS
- heavy make up can cause break outs, blocking pores
- Foundation if applieincorrectlyly or too much looks cakey and fake and worse then with make up- also make sure you get the right colour.
also if bad acne in get go in cracks and look uneven
-eye make up such as mascara can stick and your eyelashes stick together
What are the pros and cons of wearing makeup?
In my opinion there aren't any pros, unless you're using it as part of a costume for a play or for Halloween, or otherwise to make a statement. That's different.
As far as makeup being used to beautify someone, let your natural beauty stand out instead of conforming to society. I'm sure there's people out there that disagree with me, but that's my opinion, natural beauty without makeup is the way to go.
If you're going to wear it, get the most natural products you can find, most are artificial and will do damage over time. Those chemicals are absorbed through the skin and can make their way to other organs as well.
MattWhat are the pros and cons of wearing makeup?
cons, if you don't pick the right one it will clog your pore and break you out.. it takes extra time in the morning, adds to your budget.. pros, it enhances your beauty, if you buy the right kind it could actually improve your complexion, it can hide areas you don't like for the moment. you don't have to wear it daily.. i would suggest Bare Minerals..it's all natural you can apply it as light or as heavy as you want and it goes on so smoothly but what i really like is it comes in a starter kit.. includes everything you need to get started including an instructional dvd..
Ehhh, I don't really wear makeup as it is Too troublesome for me but:
Pros:
-When applied the best way for you, it can make you a bit more attractive.
-It can be handy for covering up any blemishes, moles et cetera.
-It can be fun to put on
Cons:
-Takes for ever to apply.
-Some people slop on tons of it, thinking that it makes them look better while sometimes is makes them look horrible.
-It can become very expensive if you want makeup that looks good through the whole day, instead of just the first hour or so.
I hope that this helps!
Pros: Even out skin tone, cover blemishes/acne, give yourself a new look
Cons: Can create more blemishes/acne, and if you don't do it correctly (blending incorrectly or using too much makeup) you can look rather clownish, which would defeat the purpose.
Pros: exhance beauty. help hide imperfection.
Cons: too much heavy makeup can cause cloged up pores. and thats all.. it isnt bad for skin, just remember to apply moisturizer before you apply any cosmetic to skin, and wash your face. HTH
Pro: You look better. Everybody looks better with alittle makeup on.
Con: It's a lie. You are painting your face. If you can do with just alittle makeup, then great. I, personally, do not enjoy seeing a face that is ful of makeup.
The pros of me wearing make up is it makes me look and feel better.
The cons are that it takes time to put it on, and sometimes the foundation clogs my pores and causes irritation on my face.
PROS
enhanced beauty
more confidence
a fun hobby ^_^
CONS
breakouts
running and smudged makeup
time consuming
-Cindy

of looking so plain allthe time give me some tips yall...thnx...
http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z226/鈥?/a>(photo) ok how do i do my makeup like a pro and what make up would look good on me? i go out alot but im tired
Okay, I think some smokey eyes would look great on you.
Learn how to do them here:
http://beauty.about.com/od/allaboutyoure鈥?/a>
It only takes a few minutes, so it won't interfere with your busy lifesyle.
Also, I would try some neutral, earthy tones. A sage green would look great. Or, some rich grays or browns, to bring out your eye color.

Makeup or skin care Pros ?
I'm working towards becoming a makeup artist, and I'm wondering if you know of any sites with how-to videos and tips on makeup application and/or skin care. Or do you have any beauty/makeup tips or secrets?
I will choose a best answer!
Thanks!Makeup or skin care Pros ?
As a Makeup Artist I used to take the pages of magazines and try to re-create the looks that I saw. This works really well and will give you experience. Most of the learning process is just doing it yourself over and over again.
If you are serious about this you should think about colleges for Makeup Artistry. Most schools only offer certificates, and cosmetology school doesn't teach makeup application well.
North Carolina School of the Arts has a bachelor's degree program in Wig and Makeup Design, as well as a Grad program.
I'm a student and I love it here, the connections and teachers we have are amazing. Good luck with your aspirations.

Pros and cons of BellaPierre Mineral Makeup?
The foundation and eyeshadows pleasePros and cons of BellaPierre Mineral Makeup?
Mineral makeup is just a genius marketing plan -- a new way of selling women the same ingredients that technically have been in makeup for years.
The main ingredients in minerals make up such as; mica, zinc oxide, and titanium dioxide have been the basis of most makeup foundations for decades. Mineral makeup has no special health or beauty properties.
Technically speaking all makeup is mineral make up.
You want to look for makeup that is made with natural ingredients like:
Vitamin A - helps with skin elasticity, moisture content and minimize signs of aging
Vitamin C - is an antioxidant, fights damage from pollution, cigarette smoke and helps activate vitamin E
Vitamin E - is a fat soluble antioxidant, defends against oxidation and helps to regulate Vitamin A
Rice Bran - helps maintain the appearance of smooth skin, contains over 107 naturally occurring antioxidants
Bisabolol - an anti-inflammatory botanical derived from chamomille and or yarrow, alleviates skin damage, sensitivity and inflammation, increases permeability of the skin to help conditioners and vitamins nourish deeper
Ginkgo Biloba - leaves contain some of the strongest known antioxidants
Cucumber - aids in regulating the skin's hydration and in binding moisture to the skin, amino acids to strengthen the skin's acid mantle and functions as a tightening agent
Allantom - smoothing ingredient derived from comfrey and seaweed, free radical scavenger, helps to accelerate the growth of new and healthy skin
All of these compounds are found in most high quality makeup鈥檚 like Mac, Bobby Brown, Mary Kay and Nicole Miller. I prefer Nicole Miller.Pros and cons of BellaPierre Mineral Makeup?
If you want good mineral makeup use BareEssentials BareMinerals Foundation. I have been using it for the past 4 years and there is nothing about it I don't like. It does wonders for covering blemishes.

Give me some pros and cons of bare minerals makeup and how long does it last???
Pros: Covers well, feels light, makes skin look airbrushed, lasts long time
Cons: Expensive, tricky to apply, messy to apply
I've been using it for a couple years and I love it, takes some practice to get it right (a little goes a long way) but I don't see myself ever using another foundation. Mineral veil is great too.Give me some pros and cons of bare minerals makeup and how long does it last???
i am a longtime bare minerals user, and the only con i've found is, that there are too many beautiful shades of liners, glimmers, shadows, and radiances; i am running out of room in my make -up train case. the make-up stays on all day long, even when i work 12 hour shifts. the starter kit (60.00) lasts 2-3 months. the full size foundation (25.00) %26amp; mineral veil (19.00) last me about one year. the glimmers, eye shadows, blushes, liner shadows, etc. last several years. bare minerals covers well, looks %26amp; feels completely natural, never comes out shiny or cakey, and is very gentle on my dry, sensitive skin. try it out for yourself at any ulta, sephora, macy's, or nordstrom store, to see, how you like it, before making a decision.Give me some pros and cons of bare minerals makeup and how long does it last???
It covers well and is easy to apply, and fast. You can cut your time down to put your make-up on in half. The only con i can think of is the little jars are difficult to deal with and I did drop my mineral veil on the floor one day and ooops bye bye
It actually works really well. I have worn it for about 2 years now and I am 16. It really makes it look like you aren't wearing anything.
cons is that it makes u look so shiny. pro is that it is better than foundation. i tested out like almost every mineral makeups and so far physician's formula is the best it gives me a good coverage and cheap.

What are the pros and cons of wearing makeup?
Negative Reaction to ingredients
Mineral makeup boasts very little ingredients so that it remains pure and natural, and clean on your skin. This is great! However, some haven’t been so lucky as there have been many complaints about these two popular ingredients, Bismuth Oxychloride and Mica.
Bismuth is said to be very itchy in hotter climates, and in worse cases your skin becomes so itchy it peels and your face turns very red and bloatchy.
When you put on too much makeup it makes you look like your fake.
Makeup, SOMETIMES runs. Mica, the other ingredient in mineral makeup, has been reported to also cause some breakouts, and new reports are saying that zinc oxide, another ingredient, is said to be pore-clogging.
PROS:
It Makes girrls look more prettier.
Will add texture to your face
Will Cover up spots that you don't want on your face!
To cover up freckles
Make your eyes stand out more! What are the pros and cons of wearing makeup?
I don't think there are any cons as long as you choose the right makeup. Some makeups contain a lot of chemicals and crap in them that can cause breakouts and some scientists believe certain chemicals can trigger cancer cells and other negative reactions. I wear Bare Escentuals which is all natural makeup made with real vitamins and minerals from the earth and it works GREAT! The foundation costs about $26 BUT it lasts a long time because you barely have to use any and it naturally contains SPF 15 which protects your skin a little from free radicals and sun damage. Its beautiful makeup which doesn't make you look fake. =)What are the pros and cons of wearing makeup?
I don't really know the pro's and con's, mostly because I don't really wear make-up.
I could probably look a little better if I wore some cover-up or foundation, but I barely spend any time on my hair, why bother with make-up?
When going out I'll toss on some eye shadow and mascara, but that's it. I'm addicted to chap stick so I don't wear lipstick.
All the men in my life who liked me, including my SO of 5 years, have fell for me because of my natural, unmade-up face.
Natural beauty is always the best.
Pros: its fun.
you can make yourself anyone you want to be.
Makes you feel pretty(er)
Cons: Although it makes you feel pretty, you get so used to using it that without it you eventually feel ugly.
Clogs pores.
EXPENSIVE if you want good quality.
pro : look really good
con: breaking out
i used to wear cover up to hide my face when i broke out but the truth was i broke out becuse of the cover up..so i stopped wearing it..broke out then it cleared up and now i have perfect skin all the time!
Pros:CAN make you look prettier(I put can in all caps because not all girls look prettier in make-up).
Cons:Takes a lot of time to put on, smears, can be hard to wash off, can make you look weird if you mess up.
Pro: You can hide unsightly blemishes.
Con: Once you start wearing it all the time, you can really freak people out if they ever catch you without it, and then you'll think you have to wear it aaallll the time.
:r
It's good because you look better then you usually do!
It's bad because you have to take it off at night and if you forget you get zits and if you wear liquid eyeliner it smudges so easily!
Pros-
-Enhancing self confidence
-Hides blemishes
Cons-
-Clogged pores= breakouts
-Expensive
-Can make people look trashy
PROS:...You look better. Younger age. You can play around with it. They make you look very atractive.
CONS:...They give you pimples and zits if you dont wash it away.
Pros
Covers zits
you can make it look good or cool
Cons
Some people think your a **** %26lt;it Doesn't make sense to me either%26gt;
Can give you pimples if you forget to wash you face
pro's looking older or younger (depends)
more sofistacated can make you pretty-er
con's : you might look fake, make coube bad for your skin,
can make you look horrible
Pros are it makes you feel beautiful, hides acne and some powders such as Almay help cure acne.
pros - Adds color, makes you look different
cons - can give you acne and is as expensive as heck

What r the pros and cons of being a makeup artist?
It depends on what type of make-up artist you are, if you do fashion you travel and meet new people the pay is good but its difficult to get into the industry, its cutt-throat and stressful.

Cons and pros of makeup brands??
name some good well known makeup brands and the pros and cons/Cons and pros of makeup brands??
I only know of two makeup brands to be truthful. I've used them since I started wearing makeup.
Chanel has beautiful colors but the eyeshadow doesn't stay unless you have the primer. The shiny lipstick doesn't stay on either. The eyeliner is the best in the world, but it will only last you about a month and it cost $32 a pencil (not the khol pencil the twisty kind) the foundation and the powders are too heavy and they make you look old. the makeup remover works wonders, and it lasts a really long time, the mascara is asldfjdks amazing. but it's really expensive.
Dior has horrible eyeliner, really good eyeshadow.Cons and pros of makeup brands??
cover girl tests on animals. don't use it.
i use maybelline and almay. i like them both. almay has the eye makeup that's supposed to enhace your eye color. when you put it on you wont really see a difference but as i first started using it i had people noticing how blue my eyes were! it was cool :]
yea some cons are that they all wash off.. so no matter how spiffy you make yourself look, youre just an ugly face waiting to be rinsed off
estee lauder beautiful but pricey
covergirl is cheap
revlon ok and not too bad on price, only buy when walgreens or cvs has them on sale for buy one get one free
mac is sweet but pricey too
Mineral bare essential excellent makeup all natural and good for your skin. stay away from make up with all of oil and don't feel natural to your skin in the long run they can be harmful to your skin. keep it clean and natural with no added chemical.
for eye shadow and eye liner it really dosent matter, for foundations you really should invest some money the cheaper ones usually arnt that good for your face.

Low Maintenance Red Lipstick - Makeup Pros this is a question for you!?
I have countless red lipsticks (MACs, Clinique Moulin Rouge, Cover Girl Longwear, stains, name it...) but I can never seem to bring myself to wear them at work.
Because red is so high-maintenance I'm always afraid it's either going to bleed, feather, flake (Longwear), especially after meetings-lunches.
I know all the steps to apply great red lips (I do it on the weekend) but how can you really get the total glamour look without going to the ladies room every hour.
If you do wear red lipstick to work and have a busy day, which brand do you recommend. I kinda like the Cover Girl or L'Oreal longwear but hate how it flakes and clumps the minute you eat something oily.
Should I just accept the fact that red lipstick is something you need to re-apply and keep neat?Low Maintenance Red Lipstick - Makeup Pros this is a question for you!?
i too share your love for red lipstick. try this!
my aunt taught me about 20 years ago, this is what she did back in the day. she would take baby powder and sprinkle it into the palm of her hand. then before anything was applied to her lips- anything- she would take the palm of her hand to her mouth as if ';dipping'; her lips into the powder. then you take one of those huge really soft make-up brushes and dust gently to get off the excess. and she never directly applied the tube to her lips. she swore by her lip brush. it is a silky smooth application, i cannot deny. but before applying, she used a lip liner to ';seal'; in the lipstick from bleeding. accompanied by the powder, this will keep it from bleeding. and the smoothness of the lip brush prevents feathering. hope this is a helpful tip for you.Low Maintenance Red Lipstick - Makeup Pros this is a question for you!?
im 16 and i love the glamour look so i have been wearing red lipstick with my red nails for a few months now. i have long red hair iwth choppy bangs, so it works i guess. but im pretty cheap, so i bought the N.Y.C red from walmart for like .97 and it stays all day. i dont do liner or anything. as soon as you put it on just get a papertowel or soemthing and blot it until you cant see it on the papertowel anymore, and then reapply it and just gently blot it, it sealks it in and it never makes a mess. i have to go over it with a lip brush since i don use liner to get it all evened out and everything, but this should work. cheap is sometimes the best

Makeup Pros?? Advice for a Black girl???? PICS!!!!?
I just started wearing makeup, and I am so in love with MAC, as any girl, I am more into playing up my eyes than my lips, I love eyeshadow, but I don't wanna keep going to MAC to buy eyeshadow shade I may wear once in a blue, so I want a set... I just saw this on Sephora website, and it's cheap..... I was wondering has any one used this?? Is it good? and will it go with my skin or at least most shades???

MAKEUP PROS, question about foundation for face that is diff color than body?
my problem is ever since i was young i have worn sunscreen on my face and not as much on my body so i can get a tan sometimes...well from my chest down i have stayed darker than my face. my face is a light beige and my body is almost a medium olive yellowish?!
so im planning to get new makeup but im wondering if i should go with something the color of say my body or my face? if i did my main concern is during the hot and humid weather dose makeup melt off enough to wear my lighter tone will start showing through?
(wanting to buy high definition makeup)
thank you!!MAKEUP PROS, question about foundation for face that is diff color than body?
I would pick a foundation that matches the tone of your body. That way, it looks natural and you can still protect your skin.
I love Revlon's Colorstay liquid foundation.
They have two lines, one is for oily/combination skin and the other line is for normal/dry skin. It says right on the bottle which skin type it is for so make sure you buy the type that fits your skin.
They have a ton of shades to choose from so you'll definitely find something.
I find that mixing the foundation with a face moisturizer works best and lets the foundation go on really smoothly.

I've been using this stuff for a couple years and I'm sticking with it!
hope this helpsMAKEUP PROS, question about foundation for face that is diff color than body?
go with something that matches your body. Shiseido because it is a dry foundation that is also made for wetskin. it works really good. you can find it at sephora or one of the main stores in the mall (like dillards or macys, etc.)
Buy foundation in your color definitely (or maybe a shade darker at the most). If you go too dark, you can look orange. Instead, to add color use a light bronzer all over your face.
If you wished to use both facial and bodily foundation, i would recommend using separate tones for each, otherwise you would either have left a whitish residue on your chest or an overly- dark pigmentation on your face.
To save time and money, it may be wise to invest into a mineral foundation, namely 'faerie organic' whose concealer is universal- so you can cover and sun damaged skin and liver spots, whilst covering the lighter skin blemishes and under-eye circles.
the foundation also can be altered through the usage of a darkening powder, which naturally covers well, whilst providing an spf to further protect your skin.
As well as this, the chemical formulation includes boron nitride- which due to it's antibacterial qualities improves skin condition with use.
Hope this helps :)

Makeup pros please! long lasting makeup?
I need to find a long lasting blush/bronzer. I've tried Chanel, bareminerals and benefit w/ no luck. they all come off within an hour. i've tried two different kinds of primers, too. ALSO a long lasting foundation. I love bare minerals but it doesnt stay on very long (i have an 8 hour school day and i can't touch up usually).

You need to learn to keep your hands off your face. The best makeup of all is good healthy skin.
I prefer M.A.C. products because the colors are very true to what they look like they will be and the make up is very long lasting. i find that color (eyeshadow, blush, lipstick) last longer and doesnt crease or run especially after using the ';paint'; before applying the actual make up. go to your local m.a.c. store or stand and ask them for a consultation...its free and always given by professionals :)
i like to put it all over my face
tru minerals
Mary Kay offers an inexpensive mineral makeup that is fab!

Do you have oily skin? If so that may be to be blame. I use an oil control lotion after cleansing.
PS-I'm offering a discount on the mineral foundation when you purchase the $10 foundation brush also! Email me for the coupon code!
Try anything by Two Faced i have just discovered it myself...it works great...i work 12 hour shifts and it stays the entire time and doesnt get cakey..Good luck
I've found I have the same problem. So far, what lasts the longest for me is Revlon Colorstay foundation and Bobbi Brown cream blushes. Powder blush/bronzer just slides right off on me. I also use Clinique Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector AND Lola Refine Prime as primers. I'd say I get a good 5 hours out of the blush, and 12+ from the others.
Covergirl stays on decently long, but I do like bare essentials best... =/
MIA~~~%26gt; You failed to include details. The environment in your region...what is it like (is it hot/cold/humid)?. Also, you never revealed what your skin is like (oily/dry/combo)? What makeup are you using now? Do you use an exfoliant? All of these elements will in some way affect the way your makeup wears. Also, the problem might just be that the formulas that you are wearing are all wrong for you.
In the AM, apply all makeup as usual. Once you are done, reapply blot powder and repeat a very light dusting of blush (you may add more to achieve the desired effect) and eye shadow, since that second application of blot powder tends to tone color down.
If that is still not good enough, you might want to layer products. For example, you may want to fake your flush by rubbing in a few dots of lipstick on your cheeks and going over them with blush.
Above all I would recommend playing with different textures and formulas (creams/liquids/powders). ~Hope I've helped answer your question.

MAC makeup is the best. It also comes in water-proof, therefore making it stay on longer.
I tend to use a lot of makeup, and try just about anything and everything, thats typically the best.
I also have about an 8 hour day, this stays on, I normally reapply a little, but just for adjustments (also I don't have the water-proof)
Hope this helps!

Mac makeup Pros, need your help!!?
I would like to purchase a mac pallete or set of eyeshadow that will the most for my money. I don't have a local Mac store, so I will be getting it on ebay. What do I get? What is named/ called? I tried searching for a set but having found what I am looking for. Here is what I a looking for:
http://farm1.static.flickr.com/125/36025鈥?/a>Mac makeup Pros, need your help!!?
I am not sure what it is called. I tried searching for eyeshadow pallets in MAC and could not come up with anything like your picture. I understand wanting to get the best for the money, but I really want to caution you about buying them off of Ebay.....They could be fake and not even be MAC ...and you do not know how dated the product is .....or even if it has been tampered with. I know we would like to believe that people are honest and wouldn't do that ...but they do...its amazing what people do.....I just hope if you do order them from Ebay it turns out to be a good product and original and not old ....I really haven't seen MAC have a large palette like that of eyeshadow but I could be wrong. They do have the quad sets on their site. And you could go to their web page and click on chat with an artist and ask them when was the last time they made a palette like that and then you could get an idea of how old the product is on Ebay ......

ok, so what you are looking for is an empty pallete? or a pallet that is filled with colors already? The empty pallets are called Pro Palletes. You can get them from a MAC Freestanding store, not a counter. or online at http://www.macpro.com/templates/products鈥?/a>
You do not need to have a pro membership. Just call the number and order it.
They do not sell pallets that are filled with makeup. Instead, you need to buy the eyeshadows individually . You can either buy the ones in a pot and depot them or you can buy the eyeshadow refill pans. Again, you can get these at a freestanding store or on the MACPRO website http://www.macpro.com/templates/products鈥?/a>
I would not trust buying MAC from Ebay because 95% of the time, it is fake and these fake products might have dangerous chemicals in them.
I think that is perfect,I love it, I love the colors they are so pretty, get it and just wondering what color are ur eye because if they are green you would need to were a pink color it makes ur eyes really green and if ur eyes are blue use a golden color it really look pretty.good luck
Be VERY VERY cautious about buying MAC off of e-bay....alot of the stuff on there is fake....read a few guides about how to spot fakes first...hope you find what ur looking for :)

And you could go to their web page and click on chat with an artist and ask them when was the last time they made a palette like that and then you could get an idea of how old the product is on Ebay ......

yes! but the base is pretty much pointless, try spray foundation it works amazing, its quite expensive, i advise using my make up.. sheer cover! this make up is amazing and creates the most natural look, its beautiful.Question for makeup pros?
yes there is, it is a great little way to spray and go. prices candgo anywere from 135 to 20 but you don't need to spend that much on them but don't get the really cheap stuff it is very blotchy. i recomend avon or mayballene or saphora if you want to get all fancy.
I used to use a base for my makeup b/c my makeup would become chalky and weird looking but then I started using this foundation

Revlon Makeup Pros and Cons?
What are some pros and cons of any revlon products? If there are any products that you really like could you please list them. :) Also it would be nice if you listed some products from Revlon you hate just so I know not to buy them.Revlon Makeup Pros and Cons?
I like Revlon Colorstay foundation. lasts all day.
My experience with it:
I tend to use the one for combination / oily skin in summer, and dry skin in winter. I've been using it for over 10 years now. It's really the only foundation that doesn't make my skin break out with pimples (I have sensitive skin). However, I am very pale and it doesn't always blend all that great around the neckline (I honestly believe my neck is much whiter than my face though and haven't found a foundation i don't have that problem with), and sometimes in summer, it can look a little caked around my nose if I am getting oily (could be my fault that I don't do touch ups throughout the day, I think the Revlon Active Colorstay would probably be better in summer time if you are going to be active) but most of the time it looks great the whole day. The best blending I've found, is Loreal's True Match, it blends right in very nicely and is very light weight, but it breaks my face out.

Makeup Tips from any pros out there?
I have green eyes, blond hair, and fair skin. Give me some tips, proffesionals.Makeup Tips from any pros out there?
My name is Natalia and i'm a make up artist and a beauty therapist. i've been in the industry for 6 years now. To bring out your eyes i suggest you use eyeliner colours in red- brown, taupe, purple or charcoal (soft black) and eyeshadows in golden browns, warm taupes, soft peaches or soft violets. For ivory or light beige skin tones, a blush with soft pink undertones is usually your best choice. Lipsticks or lip gloss you should go for glossy transparent pinks, light peach, honey or beige.Makeup Tips from any pros out there?
Good combonation- you can do almost anything, as long as its not too dark!
Eyes- greens, soft browns (apply with your finger to keep from putting on too much), and sheer golden-brown colors.
Cheeks- If you use an intense color on your eyes, forget doing anything on your cheeks, it would be too much. But if you go a bit neutral, then try a peachy-pink color
Lips- Again, if you already played up your eyes, then go with a clear gloss lip plumper. A pink- tinted lip gloss would look good.
Virtual Makeover. You can play with colors and find a look you will love. Then it shows you how to apply your new look. Just click the link below
You should wear plum and gold eye shadows, it will really bring out you're eyes.
Wear light brown eyeliner, and brown mascara.
You're blush should be a light pink or a light bronzer.
If you wanna do lipstick, you should do a pink or light mauve color.
Good luck gorgeous.
you have naturally gorgeous colouring,.....you can go very easy with make up...you don't want makeup to distract from your natural colouring..only use makeup to heighten what you already have.
brown mascara
soft rose blush
pale pink /deep rose lipgloss...
eye shadows: blues, greys, slate blue grey , neutrals,
you can also wear tawny colours well...bronzy roses....etc...
you have really nice features---just go with light makeup like pale/cream/light yellow- colored eyeshadow.....brown mascara- any from the maybelline line is nice if u want to spend less money but if u are willing to spend $13 or more- i would suggest any Clinique mascara.....for blush, i would stay REALLY light as in a pale pink.....light pink or clear lipgloss by any brand is nice....and as for eyeliner- with green eyes, i would suggest a brown because black is too harsh with light pretty green eyes.....good luck....for more makeup tips- go to google and type in ';professional makeup tips'; or ';makeup tips by professionals';
good luck!

Makeup pros out there? This is a tough one! need eyemakeup help!?
This is the one thing that completely bugs me about my looks. I have one single eyelid (creaseless eyelid) and one double eyelid (with a crease) and I CAN NOT make them look the same. Whenever I put on eyeshadow or eyeliner they look so different no matter how i try to blend. In the end i usually just admit defeat. I can't even get my eyelashes to curl the same since the double eyelid lashes curl more than the creasless lid (bcuz the skin droops down and you've got NO CURL). Any tips? I am dying for advice... I'd love to be able to wear eye makup.Makeup pros out there? This is a tough one! need eyemakeup help!?
If you don't want to opt for surgery, use one of these to create a double eyelid on your monolid eye:
Go with eyelid fiber:

Or the eyelid glue:

Since it's mostly asians that use it, you can either find it in an asian store near you, or online. =)
Don't get the classic eyelid tape, since it pretty much looks...like you taped your eyelid up. Very un-natural.Makeup pros out there? This is a tough one! need eyemakeup help!?
OMG SAME WITH ME!!!!!!!! grrrr .i hate ittt =(
Hmm I don't know...this is a tough one. Plastic surgery maybe? lol.
Have you tried using a really dark coloured eyeshadow, which might cover everything? Such as black or dark purple...you could create the smokey eye look. I don't know if that would cover it up much but there's really not much you can do. Either give into the way you were made or get cosmetic surgery.
what you can do is only put on eye shadow on the top part. i dont know if this could work. as for the curler part, you just shoudnt curl it if it REALLY bothers you.
hope this helps!hair straightener

I want to know the pros and cons of mineral makeup and a review on mineral make up products?
Mineral makeup is ideal for sensitive skin or skin that's prone to breaking out. It gives o.k coverage and is fairly quick and easy to apply. The best that I have tried is Bare Minerals.I want to know the pros and cons of mineral makeup and a review on mineral make up products?
I've tried a couple kinds of Mineral m/up each person is different on what works best for them. The best I've found is Everyday Minerals they have 4 different kinds of finishes. Semi-Matte, Matte, Regular %26amp; a new one that has more coverage. You can also get a free kit just pay S%26amp;H. There prices are way more reasonable than Bare Escentuals %26amp; it works better for me too. EDM is $12 vs. BE's $25. It is kind of messy but it just like the feel of it better than the heavy feel of liquids.I want to know the pros and cons of mineral makeup and a review on mineral make up products?
I think this can help a bunch of long details reveiws on mineral makeup

the pros and cons are great because you get too review it on mineral make up products
I love mineral makeup and for me the cons were the price and the inconvenient application- but now that L'Oreal has a mineral makeup with a convenient applicator- I say try it- you'll love it
Mineral Makeup is great because it feels so light and it doesn't break me out. And it doesn't melt down like other makeups
The bad thing is that it will ';cake up'; when you wear too much and it doesnt seem to blend well with my concealer. They are better worn in the winter cause in the summer, it makes me look very pale and dried out. But as far as keeping the skin clear, it works!
umm ask a pro not unoknown peeps k luv ya bu
I just purchased bare minerals and have been using it for a couple of days now. It's pretty good, except I don't feel it covers freckles too well, but it does feel light and gives you a natural look.
I love it! Go to www.everydayminerals.com for a free sample.
Pros:
It's great for you skin, makes you look so natural, and it is so fast and simple to put on
Cons:
It's a little more expensive than regular makeup, it can be messy to put on because it's all powders, and if you put on too much it looks cakey (but you can always just blend it in)
The concealers are amazing. I'd never think they could cover so well, but they do!
Go to www.arbonne.com! I use their mineral makeup! Its a little tricky to put on at first because a little really goes along way and I was used to needing to apply a lot more. If you use more than a tiny bit at a time when applying it can kind of clump up and look blotchy. It is very lightweight and gives full coverage without looking or feeling like wou are wearing a makeup mask...ick
It doesn't clog my pores either, since I've been using it, I can sleep in my maeup and not break out. I also use a great skin care line from arbonne that helps too.
My fiance has commented on how much better he likes it because he says I look more natural like I have a glow instead of makeup on my face. I like it because i have a lot of uneveness in my skin from acne scars, sun dammage etc, and I can look natural and flawless at once
I've never used them. I would like to know as well.
it's one of the best out there, for all skin types.prices are high but it goes a long way and is wonderfull and it feels good to.
Trendy topic!
The pros are that your skin won't feel like it has makeup on it and I guess people feel good that they're using minerals...this isn't revolutionary...talc is a mineral as is petroleum jelly!!
The cons are that they are messy to apply, don't do much for large pores or wrinkles, and if you have any dry patches at all it's like putting them under a magnifying glass. I didn't know that my face was dry until I put these on!
I have tried Bare Escentuals, and other than the outrageous price and silly list of ';essential'; products just to get a bare look, it is full of mica and very sparkly, especially in natural light. So it will be quite obvious you've got ';something'; all over your face. It also doesn't blend very well.
L'Oreal Bare Naturale isn't sparkly and does seem to blend fairly well, but this one was worse about accentuating dry spots.
IMHO, ';mineral makeup'; is a fad, and most is no better or worse for you than a regular foundation. And you should still wash your face every night!!
Well ladies, I don't know much about mineral makeup but I do know about Mary Kay makeup. I'm a consulant and I would love to share my products with you. I have a website where you can look at my products and let me know what you would like to try. I'll send you some samples and we'll go from there!!

Need makeup advice for a photo shoot. All suggestions welcome, especially from pros/stylists.?
I am going to a model search next Saturday and I would like some other opinions of how to do my makeup. I would like to look put-together (not trashy) in person, as well as have it photograph well.
My skin tone is olive/tan and I have blue grey eyes. My hair color is very dark brown and it will have a violet tint. My outfit consists of a burgundy sweater/hoodie over a chocolate brown halter, and a dark denim skirt.
I love to play up my eyes and enjoy applying makeup but I'm not so great putting colors together so all suggestions are welcome. Additionally, I've been looking for a good color of blush to use with my skin tone but I'm at a loss. Would I look better with a bonzier, yellow-undertones blush, or a dark pink/wine color with blue undertones?
Thanks for any help you can provide!Need makeup advice for a photo shoot. All suggestions welcome, especially from pros/stylists.?
I suggest going to Mary Kay's website and doing a ';virtual makeover';. You can pick a model that looks most like yourself and then they will give you several different color combinations that will look great! I can also say that blue eyes should not have blue eyemakeup. Purple does look good on blue eyes though, and might look really nice with your hair having the purple tint. Other than that it is very hard to recommend color to someone I've never seen, sorry :( But good luck and I hope you have a great time!!Need makeup advice for a photo shoot. All suggestions welcome, especially from pros/stylists.?
For the eyes, try a couple of browns varying different colors of browns. For the blush, try a pinkish with a clear lipgloss.
If you're going to a model search try not wearing much make up at all...they love seeing your natural beauty and they envision in their minds how you would look with make up on...make them curious and wonder about you. Don't try to hard!! good luck!!
I think that you should first use a liquid foundation, and then add on a pressed powder after it to keep your complexion shine free. Add some bronzer to the apples of your cheeks (smile when you apply it so you add it in the right spot) and it will give your whole face a warm glow.
Add a brown eyeliner to the bottom lid of your eyes, and a liquid eyeliner to the top lid. This will make your eyes appear wider.
Don't wear any eyeshadow, this will help with a natural look. If you do want to wear something though, go for a navy blue or brown.
Also, wear black mascara.
I hope I helped, good luck!

Im doing makeup for a fashion show included in my friends sweet 16, and im not a pro or anything i just?
took the position + im actually pretty average in doing makeup even though I barely even wear makeup. But i've been taking a look at magazines; and the different looks and designs of face makeup- yet i'd like some advice/ tricks to doing makeup %26amp; also some picture examples and anything that could help me be successful in this project.
=] Thnx very much for your help.Im doing makeup for a fashion show included in my friends sweet 16, and im not a pro or anything i just?
Liquid liner is easiest to start with, it goes on quick, but sometimes it takes some practice to get right, I'd rather use it when I do other's make-up, compared to regular pencil or re-trectable. Be sure the pull the eye tight when putting liner on the top, to keep the skin from getting wrinkly when trying to put it on! If in doubt about the liner, have q-tips ready to clean away, or smudge if nessecary.
When doing the mascara, ask the person to look away, but it's pretty obvious they will always know to do that. Rest your hand gently on there cheek when putting on the mascara, just to keep your head steady.
Only apply the blush to the cheekbone, and don't coat the brush all over the blush, you don't need alot.
Line the lips with lip liner before applying anything. It helps the lipstick to stay on longer if you put some foundation on the lips, not alot, and then apply the lipstick, ect.
With everything, practice on yourself first! Or ask a sibling or friend if you can practice on them before the day. Best of luck to you! Have fun with it! :]Im doing makeup for a fashion show included in my friends sweet 16, and im not a pro or anything i just?
I don't kno what type of look your going for, but here is some general tips. If a model will be wearing 1 shade of eyeshadow the entire show, add a bit of powder foundation to her eyelids to hold the ishadow. Cream shadows are best for fashion shows b/c the audience can really c them. large powder brushes r good 4 quick covering of sparkly stuff on skin. Use lip liner on outside of natural lip line 4 fuller lips. choose foundation based on color of neck. apply in an upward and out motion. Use whit eyeliner inside of the bottom lid to create wider bigger eyes. if applying ilashe, place i liner 1st.( twezzers make the job ezier)be creative, b colrful, have fun.

Good luck gorgeous.
you have naturally gorgeous colouring,.....you can go very easy with make up...you don't want makeup to distract from your natural colouring..only use makeup to heighten what you already have.
brown mascara
soft rose blush
pale pink /deep rose lipgloss...
eye shadows: blues, greys, slate blue grey , neutrals,
you can also wear tawny colours well...bronzy roses....etc...
you have really nice features---just go with light makeup like pale/cream/light yellow- colored eyeshadow.....brown mascara- any from the maybelline line is nice if u want to spend less money but if u are willing to spend $13 or more- i would suggest any Clinique mascara.....for blush, i would stay REALLY light as in a pale pink.....light pink or clear lipgloss by any brand is nice....and as for eyeliner- with green eyes, i would suggest a brown because black is too harsh with light pretty green eyes.....good luck....for more makeup tips- go to google and type in ';professional makeup tips'; or ';makeup tips by professionals';

Or the eyelid glue:
http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/0/7/1/1/5/3/webimg/8760724_tp.jpg
Either give into the way you were made or get cosmetic surgery.
what you can do is only put on eye shadow on the top part. i dont know if this could work. as for the curler part, you just shoudnt curl it if it REALLY bothers you.
hope this helps!

I think this can help a bunch of long details reveiws on mineral makeup
http://www.dermstore.com/reviews/details鈥?/a>
the pros and cons are great because you get too review it on mineral make up products

How should i do my eyeliner? help plz makeup pros?
my eyelids r kind of thick and i was wondering how i shouls do my eye makeup. how and where should i apply my eyeliner on my eyes? How should i do my eyeliner? help plz makeup pros?
to help your eyes look larger, and for daytime...just apply on the top lid. nighttime is better for a dramatic cateye and eyeliner in your water/tightline. for a different look dnt do black. and for daytime try brown instead of black. How should i do my eyeliner? help plz makeup pros?
Personally, I won't let the stuff near my eyes, but I found this on the net hope u like it
http://www.allure.com/howtos/video/2008/09/eyeliner
this is a video on how to put on eyeliner
You could apply the liner on the bottom above your lower lashes. Also a thin line above your top lashes. For more of an effect, apply both. Your eyes will pop when both are applied or just one or the other.
Just apply eyeliner to the lashline and waterline, top and bottom of your eye. =]
Play around with it. It's very very simple. I taught myself when I was younger =)

The pros are that they won't clog your skin, it can breathe. There aren't any oils which damage your skin, and also other chemicals like Sodium Lauryl Sulphate which is really bad for your skin and make you look older. They are usually not tested on animals.
Cons, you don't get such thick coverage(however, using it for a longer period of time will make your skin better and thus extra coverage isn't needed) and some brands contain some harmful minerals, or are fake. I suggest you do proper research on the brands you are interested in.What are the pros and cons of using mineral foundation/makeup?
PROS:
-good for your skin
-doesn't clog pores
- light coverage
- doesn't damage your skin from continued/everyday use
CONS:
- doesn't give a full and complete coverage as liquid foundations.
Be careful though. A lot of companies are claiming that there foundation is a mineral type and it's fake. So read the labels and choose a reputable brand. What are the pros and cons of using mineral foundation/makeup?
I am basing all my information from what I have learned from the Cosmetic Cop (AKA Paula Begoun), and my personal experience.
YOU HAVE TO READ THE LABELS!!! Some companies put talc in their powder. Talc can be harmful, and doesn't really do much. It can clog pores, get your face oily, and stain clothes if you get it on things. If you get the correct kind (which I don't know that that is) you can have sheer cover that looks natural, breathes easily, and doesn't feel heavy.
Please check out the Cosmetic Cop. She has tested every beauty product, and I put all my faith in her when shopping for makeup!

Eye-makeup artists/pros, can i have some advice?
I have deepset eyes, so you can't really see the crease/fold part on my eyelid. You can a little bit, but it's just really small. I was wondering how I could do my eye-makeup to make my eyes look better.
Because when I wear eyeliner on my top lid and I look straight at someone they think I'm wearing like jet black eyeshadow because you can like only see the black eyeliner but it like looks like it covers the whole crease thing. I hope you know what I mean.
I read on some site that doing a very very thin line of a pale lavender or another really light colour will look better with my eyes, is this true?Eye-makeup artists/pros, can i have some advice?
Put white or silver eye shadow on first. If you are a bit brown in skin color then use a light brown shadow. Then use black eye liner on top lid. Get a white make up pencil and use it on your bottom lid inside. The white will help your eyes look bigger. Don't for get to use mascara and curl your lashes on top. That should open your eyes for you. LOLEye-makeup artists/pros, can i have some advice?
yeah, doing a thin line of white or pearl or a pale lavender really does seem to open your eyes, but that's usually only if you have small eyes to begin with, but it just seems as if you have small eyelids. maybe you should just skip the eyeliner or do a very thin line of eyeliner and some light pretty eyeshadow.
Do you have a picture of your eyes? It's very hard to be specific without looking at your eyes!
(Since your name is MAC, perhaps you're familiar with the line) M.A.C.'s Fluidline offers a variety of liners in lilacs and light colours which would probably look lovely.
Follow up with a photo and I can help you a bit more.
Use white shadow or any light pastels or tans.. shimmery is good too. Black makes the eyes appear smaller , but white, makes the eyes look bigger and gives more shape/definition ... try sweeping a light color on your lids up to your brow bone..hair straightener

What are the Pros and Cons about makeup? Do you consider it good or bad?
ppl, what is your opinion about make up? also is it good or bad for you... if you could post some sites it would help. This is for a report...What are the Pros and Cons about makeup? Do you consider it good or bad?
Pros - Can help give the appearance of an even/flawless skin tone; hide blemishes; highlight certain features such as your eyes or lips and make them appear even more spectacular!; can make you feel 'pretty'
Cons - Clog pores; foundation tends to rub off on clothing and can be messy; wearing too much can mask your natural beauty; oil based formulas can irritate skin and may increase acne; it 'melts in hot weather; can be expensive; hard to find time to apply and remove at night if you have a hectic schedule...
There are Soooo many different websites that have a different take on how makeup effects your skin - depending on the formula that you use and your skin type ... i.e. oily or normal it may or may not have much effect. What is more important is that you have a consistent routine for facial cleansing, exfoliating, applying an SPF oil-free lotion, and makeup removal. What are the Pros and Cons about makeup? Do you consider it good or bad?
+ Emphasizes your features
+ Covers blemishes
+ Adds style
+ Gives more desirable texture and color
+ Confidence..?
- You become reliant on it (you only feel confident with makeup)
- Bad for skin
- People become focused on looks too much
- Covers up your real face
- smears
well, i prefer the natural look, tooo much make up will make you look like the next Janice Dickinson and no one wants that !!!! but for me, unless it is a girls nite out or a party, i won't put on make-up except a little eyeliner and lipgloss. Too much is never good. plus it is not good for the skin, major breakouts can occur and you won't look good. it is always better for your skin to get fresh air instead of being couped up under all that make up
much love,
Lollie
The pros of makeup are endless-----they can cover up imperfections, its less expensive than cosmetic surgery, and it can enhance your entire look and make a pretty woman look absolutely beautiful.
I don't see any cons about makeup------the only time makeup can look bad is when the person applying the makeup doesn't understand how to apply it, doesn't know what colors flatter them, or if they apply too much. Knowing the proper techiques for applying makeup and buying the correct shade of foundation will ensure that makeup makes anyone look better, not worse.
it is very bad for your skin it will cause breakout's, it makes you look fake and ugly
Personally, I think makeup makes me look like a clown. It looks good on a lot of other people, though. It is good for covering up blemishes, like a concealer or foundation. Over-applying is never attractive, though. I'm thinking about going to a salon and asking a professional's advice. =)
pros- it can make u look unique and give you more self confidense, or just let you have more fun
cons- if you get noncomegolic(or something like that) then you can breakout, you can get to full of yourself
um go to Ulta.com they have so much makeup
if you want good makeup at cheaper pirces try walgreens.com or drugstore.com
if you want makeup that good and does nothing bad for your skin clinique works great- they have so much and its does nothing harmful to your face- but its a bit pricey
Hope this helps
good.
pros
**it helps cover your pimples, etc.
*it usually gives you confidence in yourself
*it makes u feel beautiful
some products make your skin healthier
cons
*some products clog your pores so they sometimes cause you to get pimples
*its sometimes expensive
*t gets ruined by the end of the day usually
*you have to make sure that you dont smear it
good
My opinion? It can be good and bad.
Pros:
1. It can cover up a scar and make someone fell better when they look in the mirror (and make others stop picking on them for the way they look).
2. It can be a great way to disguise yourself (if you have to go out and you really don't want people you know to see you...say you're having a bad hair day or just got a bad day or the dentist told you have a cavity, so you're in a bad mood and don't want to talk to anyone).
3. It's great if you have to have your picture taken or you're going to be in front of a camera. If you don't use it, you might end up looking more than slightly off color (you watch yourself on the TV screen and grimace in embarassment...on the screen you look bright green!)
Con:
1. It can be expensive.
2. It turns you into someone else. Being yourself is best, that's who you are and others shouldn't have to see you as someone else to like you (if that's the only reason they like you then they aren't worth your time).
3. It can give people the wrong impression.

You're going to need a lot of fake tan and bronzer to achieve those looks. The lip colour is a peach, coral or terracotta kind of colour. I like that too, but don't overdo it as it can make your teeth look yellow. How to put on makeup like a pro?
Whoever did the makeup for the first photo is NOT a good makeup artist. I use the following brands of makeup:
Iman (I use this only for black women's matte foundation)
MAC
Ben Nye
Kevyn Aucoin (Very expensive but good)
In fact, any brand is fine, no true makeup artist sticks to one brand. Proffessional lines like a few of the ones I mentioned above are mainly due to having higher pigment (which costs more for cosmetic companies to manufacture) and color availability.
The most important investment artists make is in good brushes. They don't need to be expensive, but they need to be VERY soft and pliable. Start with those.
The lipstick in the first photo is a flsh tones lip pencil with a tinted lipgloss. No lipstick is worn. The best lipgloss like this is called Lipglass and it's made by MAC.
PRACTICE...PRACTICE...PRACTICE and try watching youtube for different techniques

Tips for applying makeup like a pro and oily skin?
I'm 23 and I've never been super great at applying my makeup. Usually, I can get it to look great, and within the hour my face has begun to sweat and get oily and it looks like I'm not wearing anything but eyeshadow, and it looks terrible.
My usual routine is as follows:
use an astigent to combat my oily skin. I then apply topical acne medication on my problem areas. When that dries, I use concealer, followed by a powder foundation. Next, I'll use a little blush, and apply eyeshadow and mascara. I finish it off with a mineral finishing veil.
Am I doing anything wrong? How can I make it not ';dissapear'; so quickly, and also how can I get my acne prone skin to look almost flawless?
Also, any tips on color selections would be great, too. I have green eyes, very fair skin and auburn hair (very irish, hahaha)
Thank you!Tips for applying makeup like a pro and oily skin?
I'm 23 and have the same problem. You don't seem to be using a primer. Put that on after you use the toner and acne medication. It helps makeup stay on. Then I apply my makeup per ususal.
The person who said using a higher brand of makeup is right. I bought some at Sephora and it makes a huge difference. I love Clinique as it has oil free makeup. Bare Minerals is also wonderful.
Then there are these wipes that absorb oil. You can buy them at Bath and Body Works, Walgreens, pretty much anywhere. Blot them on your face when you feel it getting oily or before you even feel it and it will absorb the oil.
This should help but I've found in really hot weather and on certain days I just need to reapply my makeup.
For truly flawles skin I would say go with MAC, it makes you look like a movie star. It's not the best for you skin though so only use it when you want to look perfect.
For everyday help with acne prone skin put moisturizer on before you put the concealer on and it will blend into your skin more and put it on don't rub it on.
I'm from Ireland so I know how it is to have fair skin. Golden and peachy tones look good with green eyes and fair skin, purple colors look good with auburn hair. For everyday go with a light brownish color that has a bit of a gold touch to it and use brown mascara. Use a dab of peach blush and your good to go. For dressing it up choose a color that brings out one of your features like your eyes or hair and play it up.
Best of luck to you!Tips for applying makeup like a pro and oily skin?
u should try using a high quality brand of makeup such as MAC, Bobbi Brown, Cliniqe, Estee Lauder, ect.
it was last you all day, even when you sweat.

What do they have at MAC pro stores that they dont have at regular MAC stores? (makeup brand)?
do they have the full coverage foundation at the normal mac stores? What do they have at MAC pro stores that they dont have at regular MAC stores? (makeup brand)?
Pro stores usually have more products and shades that are meant to be used in professional settings (runways, photo shoots, tv, etc.). They also have empty palettes (4 and 15 e/s, and blush palettes) and they sell eyeshadows and blushes in the refill tin size (they go directly in the palettes).
The full coverage foundation is available at normal mac stores and counters. What do they have at MAC pro stores that they dont have at regular MAC stores? (makeup brand)?
The pro store has chrome cakes, airbrush makeup etc. stuff for makeup artists.and the full coverage is only avalible at max pro. Also mac pro stores ah more colors of lipstick shadows blush etc. and they sell them in pans. Hope I helped!
They would have the full coverage foundation at normal MAC stores.
Pro stores are, as a previous user stated, geared more towards makeup artists, and have more extensive colors and tools.
Mac pro stores have like, costume-y makeup, because the whole point of mac makeup is for stage makeup, so yeah.
but they also have all the regular stuff too.

What are the pros and cons of organic and mineral makeup?
I see all this organic and mineral makeup at the drug stores now... but they are so expensive! What's so great about them that they're so expensive like that? And what's the negatives? I'm considering on sampling a couple brands but I don't want my money to go to waste on makeup even though a good amount already does get paid to get the drugstore makeup that I use!
Anything I should know beforehand about certain brands? What the pros and cons are for these makeups? Thanks! What are the pros and cons of organic and mineral makeup?
The big con is there is no organic standard for cosmetics so any cosmetic can be called organic even if there are zero organic ingredients in that cosmetic (or any beauty or soap product, for that matter) Beauty products are controlled by the FDA. the organic certification program is controlled by the USDA and has no control over anything in the FDA's realm
See http://www.organicconsumers.org and participate in their national campaign to put organic standards on cosmetics so when you buy organic make-up it really is organic make-up.What are the pros and cons of organic and mineral makeup?
Well honestly, they're pricey. And I've had little luck with them. But you have to get what works best for you or what you think works best. I would definitely try the samples before going out and buying stuff that doesn't work for you. It's important to be happy with what you buy before you spend the money to make yourself look beautiful!!! Believe, I've made that mistake before!!! Good luck!
They are easy to apply, they hide any blemishes better then other make-up. It looks more natural. downside, it clogs your skin, and are pricy, worth the buy for nights out.
I have revlon colorstay mineral foundation, the bad thing about mineral foundation is the price, but mine stays on all day and all night, I love it, best foundation I've used
