like most of our pro makeup is in nordstrom and i will feel uncomfortable going in there and buying makeup!!! cuz im 13!!

Ok, the people who work at the makeup counters are extremely friendly so there is no reason to be shy or scared!! I first went when I was thirteen too and I got my makeup done. I suggest you get your makeup done so that they can tell you about the products and teach you about applying it and what your best colors are so that you can look absolutely stunning!! Or, if you don't want your whole makeup done, just go to the makeup counter(s) and start looking at eyeshadow, foundation, mascara, eyeliner...whatever you want to! =)


You could ask them to help you pick out a lipgloss or eyeshadow and they'll help! They are pros!! Trust me, they won't think you're an idiot! When I first went, I wore no makeup and I was like, ';can you do my makeup?'; and the lady was so friendly she put me at ease! I turned out fabulous and I've been going regularly. I love fancy makeup!! And I am now 15 and you will love it! I guarentee you'll be happy with the results -- you'll never want to go back to cheap makeup again! =)

Why not start with a regular drugstore-available brand like Cover Girl? You need very little makeup at 13, so you could buy an inexpensive highlighter, lip gloss, something very light. Then, as you become older and more familiar with applying makeup (and have money to spend on it) you will no longer feel uncomfortable buying the more expensive products.

It's kind of a waste to use such expensive makeup at such a young age. You shouldn't be wearing makeup yet anyway!! Just get some cheaper starter stuff from wal-mart. And in a few years invest in the higher quality make-up. But honestly, 7th graders wearing gobs of makeup just look like wanna-be sluts, and it's not cool. Sorry, it's just the truth.
i would suggest putting off buying the high-end brands until you're a little older %26amp; know just how to deal with makeup like that. unless you've got the money to blow, then, by all means, go in and demand help from one of the service counters. they'll be more than glad to assist you.

sweetie, dont wear make up at such a young age! because then when you go to high school, your gonna look the same every year, %26amp; you get scars on your face when your younger.. when %26amp; then you would look older than you actually are... so my advice is not to get it! :] hope i get the best answer! :D
