Question about skin tone and makeup any makeup pro's here ?

hi, i have been told i am a ';winter'; skin tone. light-medium skintone, dark brunette hair, hazel brown eyes. i went to the prescriptives makeup counter last night and they colorprinted me and said i have blue-red undertones. they told me i would look best in pink or plum blushes, however, i find this not to be true since i already have pink in my cheeks, i find that bronzey color blushes look best on me best they neutralize the pinkyness, whereas pink plum blush enhance the pink and also make me appear too pale.

can someone explain why if i am cool tone i dont look good in cool tone blush ? LOL (i do look good in cool tone lipsticks though)Question about skin tone and makeup any makeup pro's here ?

Well you can be pale all over and have very red cheeks and therefore be a winter and just have bright cheeks. You should go with what you like and not what is ';right'; for you. You could also buy powder blush or even eye shadow which is what I like to use for blush and mix some colors to get a pinky-bronze color. Remember, no one should ever be able to see that you are wearing blush so dont do anything un-natruel looking with it color or shape wise. Try brushing a tanish golden powder all over your face to give it abit of glow too.
Did the analysis suggest a concealer for the pink areas so it would tone your skin tone areas that are naturally pink?
try Revelon Bare in all Lustrous lotion in peachy tease. Smooth this illuminser on and you will create a supermodel glow!
